We are a small group of technologists / artists / resourceful folks developing research, data, & systems for independent community self-organization and -preservation.

• The Peoples' PBX, a program to deliver #Occupiers and other organizers an freely deployable voice communication system ... and so much more.  Some initial design ideas are available here. If you need assistance deploying your own voice over IP communications systems, feel free to contact us.

• TACTICAL SYSTEMS: communications and operational systems for coordinating & documenting mass direct action. Like all our stuff, this is designed to be deployed & operated by non-technologists: to run on legally on open spectrum; and assembled from inexpensive, widely available hardware, open source software, and independent services. • Coming soon:  ART OPS, promoting and equipping cognitive interventions of various flavors.  We would love to hear your ideas.

• The SUPERASSEMBLY, a concept design using simple telephony to conduct live direct democracy / consensus process across multiple physical sites.

We contain considerable expertise in large scale telephony / VoIP, mobile apps & services, digital media distribution, data processing, and generally building durable systems that normal humans can run on the cheap; we observe very strict cost, sustainability, field operability, and usability standards; and we have resources to share with like-minded folks & interesting projects.
